WIP meeting minutes - Week 7

Outcomes

Pitch Proposal Status

·       The proposal draft is currently in progress. Key sections such as the introduction, objectives, and NGO background have been completed.

Pitch Presentation Status

·       The presentation slides are partially completed. Initial slides including the concept, NGO overview, and product introduction are done. Design improvements and additional content are being worked on.

Group Booth Status

·       No materials have been purchased yet. However, we have contacted the NGO, and they have acknowledged our campaign and granted us permission to use their name. Further planning is still required.

Sarah Qistina Wright (0139173)

Role assigned: Leader & Secretary

Updates on my roles:

·       as a leader I'm trying to guide my team and initiate discussions in class

·       as a secretary, I'm handling the donation proposal

Status on proposal and presentation:

·       I'm still in the process of drafting out the Donation proposal but will be completing it soon

·       for the csr campaign, I haven’t started much but will soon

Aimie Atma Binti Basirin (0139018)

Role Assigned: Secretary & Treasurer

Updates on my roles:

·       As the Secretary, I’ve been focusing on both the proposal and the presentation

·       As the treasurer, although no expenses have been recorded yet, I’ve started working on the budgeting plan, estimating potential costs for booth setup, materials, and product preparation.

Status on proposal and presentation:

·       Proposal: The structure and a few sections have been drafted. I’m continuing to develop the content

·       The slide sequence has been outlined. I’ve begun working on the content, aligning it with the proposal content.

 

Ethan Tan Wei Jie (0139155)

Role assigned: Visual and Factual Research Team & NGO Team

Updates on my roles:

·       For visual and ngo team, I might help with any props or setup in the booth including its design and posters.

·       For NGO team, I might plan where to place the brochures from SUKA Society

Status on proposal and presentation:

·       For proposal, everyone is working for different task and for presentation, I haven't touch it yet.

 

 

Quek Rou Yun (0138600)

Role assigned: Visual and Factual Research Team & Marketing and Promotional Team

Updates on my roles:

·       As a part of Visual and Factual research, I already design the poster and donation poster, slight assignment will be needed.

·       As a marketing department, me and my marketing partner are still filming the video and need to edit the video after this. We also struggling with whether we need to open a new account to upload the poster.

Status on proposal and presentation:

·       I will put my final poster and donation poster in the slide.

 

Wong Anna (0138488)

Role assigned: Logistics & Marketing and Promotional Team

Updates on my roles:

·       As the person who is in charge of logistic, I had compared the lowest price between several markets and decided to buy the ingredients that we need.

·       As the marketing department, I'm thinking of how to improve our booth and donation advertising.

Status on proposal and presentation:

·       I will put on the ways I promote when I had done the advertising.

Chong Jun Kit (0138491)

Role assigned: Logistics

Updates on my roles:

·       logistics: we are trying to figure out the amount of product to make and the amount of ingredients to buy

·       NGO team: we will be going to the NGO's headquarters to receive the brochures that they have asked us to spread

Status on proposal and presentation:

·       the proposal to the ngo and donation request to various companies has been accepted

·       the presentation is mostly finished

Kong Li Yen (0139172)

Role assigned: Visual and Factual Research Team & NGO Team

Updates on my roles:

·       For visual and factual research team, I am drawing the poster and menu for our booth, and we are planning the video content.

·       For NGO team, I will going the SUKA society to receive the brochures.

Status on proposal and presentation:

·       For proposal, we have separate our jobs.

·       For presentation, I am still doing the slides.

Mind Map Personal Reflection           Creating the Casita Dreams booth concept and product idea involved a thoughtful process filled with both creative exploration and practical challenges. The first major obstacle was finding a suitable and meaningful theme that could represent SUKA Society’s mission of protecting and empowering vulnerable children. It was important to develop a concept that felt emotionally sincere, visually engaging, and relevant to the organization’s work. After exploring different ideas, the concept of a “casita” which indicates a small, safe home was chosen to represent healing, protection, and belonging for vulnerable children.           Two products were selected to reflects the theme which are Casita Ice Stick and the Little Home Keychain.
