 Personal Reflection

Developing the “Break the Silence” concept for Suka Society was challenging but is still satisfying to me. At first, I fine it hard to come out a theme that emotionally connected with the NGO’s mission. After researching, I chose the movie Sound of Freedom, which highlights child protection and trafficking issues closely related to Suka Society’s focus (Angel Studios, 2023).

Finding realistic products was another issue. Many ideas were not affordable or relevant. I solved this by browsing Shopee and selecting a bell keychain and wing charm. The bell symbolizes giving children a voice, and the wing is freedom (Cooper, 2019), both aligning with Suka Society’s goals.

Formatting the mindmap with short root labels was also tricky, but I used branching details to keep it clear. This experience taught me how to combine creativity, symbolism, and research to raise awareness for a real cause.

Mind Map Personal Reflection           Creating the Casita Dreams booth concept and product idea involved a thoughtful process filled with both creative exploration and practical challenges. The first major obstacle was finding a suitable and meaningful theme that could represent SUKA Society’s mission of protecting and empowering vulnerable children. It was important to develop a concept that felt emotionally sincere, visually engaging, and relevant to the organization’s work.
