Personal Reflection

Creating my booth for SUKA Society, inspired by the movie Capernaum, was a meaningful challenge. The film is very sad, highlighting children's deep struggles. My main problem was: How do I use such a serious theme to raise awareness and inspire action, without making the booth depressing, especially if people hadn't seen the movie?

My solution was to embrace simplicity and hope. We chose a pure white booth design for a bright, clean feel. We filled it with child-like drawings to represent innocence and dreams, focusing on universal themes like "Home Sweet Home." My two products, "Grain of Hope" and "Held with Care," became tangible symbols of warmth and basic needs.

I learned that even difficult topics can inspire hope and encourage action through thoughtful, simple design.
