Reflection:
Through writing this, I have learnt a lot about Badan Warisan
Malaysia and the state that our traditional buildings are in. I have also realised
that there are not many non-governmental organisations in Malaysia that focuses
on preserving and restoring these historical heritages. I hope that the efforts
of Badan Warisan Malaysia and other organisations like them can keep preserving
the built heritage left by our ancestors as these buildings are a symbol of Malaysia’s
identity and culture.
